PackageIt Update - May 11, 2020

A group of people wearing masks are standing in a warehouse.

With the extension of the stay-at-home order to May 31, most of us are feeling a little claustrophobic—and a lot of stir crazy. As you continue to deal with the shutdown, we hope you’ve found a few points of gratitude on the journey. Our team has enjoyed family time, burned through our honey-do lists—and completed some back-burner projects. We’ve also reached out to neighbors in need.

Most recently, we provided Mountain View Fire and Rescue with hard-to-come-by personal protective equipment (PPE). Please contact us if you know of other first responders in need of PPE. When possible, we will work with manufacturers to help fill those needs and offer strategies for supply acquisition.

As you can imagine, it’s been quieter than usual around here. To make the most of our COVID-19 lull, we’ve poured hundreds of hours into the design and development of our CUSTOMER PORTAL, launching in the fall. The app will streamline communication between our team and yours while enabling order placement and tracking, custom product approval, invoice payment, estimate requests and more. (Watch our website for launch dates and information!)

COVID-19 FACILITY UPDATE

PackageIt is deemed an “essential business” by the State of Washington. We have been and will continue to be fully operational throughout the stay-at-home order and beyond. Trust us to support your business as you strategize for reopening, place orders for PPE, and serve customers with pickup, drop-off and delivery services.

Be assured we put customer and employee health first by taking these steps:

  • Abiding by CDC recommendations for cleaning, disinfection and social distancing.
  • Wearing masks and gloves inside our facility to prevent coronavirus spread.
  • Providing order delivery or contactless pickup by request. (Call 888.743.0907 to arrange).
  • Purchasing single-use masks in bulk for customers requiring PPE protection.
  • Communicating with our vendor/partner base to assure stable supply chains.

It is our pleasure to serve and support you throughout May and into the next phase of COVID-19 recovery. Our thoughts are with Washington families and businesses who have suffered loss or health problems, financial stress, business closures or family crises during the pandemic. We look forward to being part of a #WashingtonStrong recovery.

To keep your business on track during uncertain times, call 888.743.0907. As always, contact me with concerns or questions.  The PackageIt family is here to help.

From our family to yours, be well.
