What Range of Products Does PackageIt Offer?

  • Read the video transcription.

Basically we can give you anything you need to run your business, whether it's pencils, copy paper, furniture, shipping boxes, and retail displays.

All of them need something different and that can be anything from stock boxes with bubble wrap to a custom box with a fabricated foam insert, made out of polyethylene foam, or foam in place. Or maybe they're looking for more of a retail pack, where again, it's a stock box with some printed tissue inside. We can cover all of that.

Does PackageIt Make Their Own Boxes?

  • Read the video transcription.

A lot of people ask if we make our own boxes, because there are companies out there that do and companies that don't.

Package It does not make boxes, but where that is of value to our customers is that we have multiple suppliers so we can find the best supplier for their application. We aren't tied to selling them. What we make out in a factory is the one we have access to. We can find them the very best option, pricing, and delivery for their product.

Is Going Through PackageIt More Expensive Than Straight From The Supplier?

  • Read the video transcription.

No, because of the volume that we do with our suppliers, we get discounts based on that, then in turn allows to be competitive directly in the marketplace.

What is your typical turn-around time?

  • Read the video transcription.

Turn-around time on stock items is typically two days. If you need it sooner, we have a warehouse that's available for will call or perhaps we can do a courier. So if there's a custom item, most custom items are a couple of weeks lead time after we have confirmation of specs and pricing.

Will PackageIt Ship Your Order To You?

  • Read the video transcription

We do ship, within the Puget Sound area, free delivery on orders over $500. Again, if an order's below that, we have other arrangements we can make.

How Does PackageIt Handle Custom Orders?

  • Read the video transcription.

So if they have an actual prototype of the project it's great to see that so that we can find out how they need it packed, who their end user is, how it needs to ship. Do we need to meet any special certifications? Or is it an especially sensitive product? So are we going to need custom foam interior packaging or is it something that can put in perhaps some roll foam or some bubble wrap? Does a customer need a stock box because it's a relatively small quantity or is it something that is a larger run or needs to be more specific so that we have to go to a custom box? Within all that we can determine what design is best, what materials, and get a sample and pricing for the customer to review.

Has Branding Changed When It Comes to Packaging and Shipping?

  • Read the video transcription.

Absolutely, absolutely. As we've all seen there are YouTube videos that's all people do is they video themselves opening packages and it's an actual job for them now. Companies send them products just so they can put their video on YouTube. It's a strange phenomena.

With the advent of all of the growth in e-commerce and what we are calling the Amazon effect people are shipping many more packages, and paying a lot more attention to the end user experience when they receive that package. We have customers who are redoing their packaging so that there's printing on the inside or it opens up and there's some really pretty tissue inside or something. So that when their end user opens it it's an enhanced experience.

Can I Set-Up Recurring Orders?

  • Read the video transcription.

A lot of our customers do use a standard list of items. And those are shipping boxes, poly bags, tape, bubble wrap, peanuts, all of the things that you would normally expect to find in a warehouse. Yeah, we have a number of customers, same list every week.
