POLYESTER STRAPPING

POLYESTER STRAPPING

Hand-grade polyester strapping is manually applied to lumber, heavy pallets, and other medium-to-large loads for storage and shipment. It is generally used in low-to-moderate volume applications.  Polyester strapping retains tension over time and is noncorrosive, so it will not damage surfaces.

What is the difference between polyester and polypropylene strapping?

Look and feel - Polyester strapping is glossy and smooth. Polypropylene strapping has a matte finish and is usually embossed. Tension retention – Polyester retains tension over a long period of time. Polypropylene has low retained tension, often losing about half of the applied tension with an hour of being applied
